My Theme

For my Duke of Endinbrugh award it specifies that I need to choose a theme for my work, I like taking photos of the natural world and so I was thinking of basing my theme on that. Some further branches off this theme could include photographing water, lanscapes, macro-photography and wildlife. I'm just going to photograph what I find and try to be creative with it; the criteria also states that I play around with natural and artificial light, as well as editing so that's also a chance to be creative with what I take.
I started with taking some pictures in Stockwood Vale, a valley on the outskirts of Keynsham:

With the pictures of the stream I enjoyed experiemting with the shutter speed to get the smooth effect of the water as if it's moving within the photo. The shutter speed I used was 1/2 second.
